8.7.09 - New video added
28.6.09 - First chick hatched (the yellow and black one)
29.6.09 - 2nd chick hatched, it appears to be all black and much smaller than the other one
4.7.09 - I took out the other 3 eggs that remained and cracked them open to see how far they had developed and well I got a shock as 2 were basically none starters but the other was 2 days away from hatching, according to what I looked up online, the chick breathed for around 5 minutes and then died, the reason this happened is because the yolk hadn't went inside the chick and was still exposed plus it wasn't ready physically, I felt like a murderer.
5.7.09 - Chicks are doing great, my other broody silkie is sitting on one egg still, don't think its going to be a hatch though, will get updated pictures tomorrow maybe.
